104bWhenever I go to the grocery store I check the used DVD movies that are for sale. If they look good or are marked down to $5, I buy them and save them for when we go camping. We have a small TV and at night we sit down and watch a movie. I am running out of movies to watch.

Yesterday I scoured the movies at Dollar General. I already have the movies that I was interested in, so I didn’t get any. At the grocery store, I did find a movie for $7.99. It is called Aeonflux with Charlize Theron. I also found one on my shelf at home that I bought and forgot about. The Wicker Man with Nicolas Cage. That one was $5. On the back it says “Profoundly disturbing, blood chilling suspenser, fantastically creepy performances.” by the New York Post.

Now that I read that……I don’t know if I want to watch it. I think I have to go find, see a trailer on that movie on the Internet.
The other day I bought a big 5 pound package of mozzarella cheese. (It was $8 at Sam’s Club). I spent some time this morning cutting it up and vacuum packing it. I measured out 5 oz sizes for making pizza. I am going to make a pizza in my Nesco roaster when we are camping. We are taking our canoe and try it out on a lake. We are going near Corbin, KY to a Federal park. It is a really nice park. I will take pictures.
Now, to find that trailer on that movie…..

  1. I’ve always been one of those people that can’t watch a movie more than once really, and so don’t have a huge collection of DVDs like most people. I did use one of those “rent by post” services and found that was good, but I really didn’t get enough out of it to make it worth the monthly charge in the end.

  2. I’m not a big movie buff. But the canoeing sounds fun. Have a good time
