My hubbie called the real estate lady today to find out some feedback on what the people thought of our house. I have said that for the past year I have been re-doing the kitchen. It is almost done. We went to Home Depot a few days ago and I happened to notice that they were having a sale on their appliances. They were giving 10 percent off, plus if you got a credit account with them they would give you an extra 10 percent off. They had a really nice stove that I liked but it was not a convection oven. My husband wants a convection oven. The last time we price a stove that we wanted it was $1300 dollars. The stove at Home Depot was $949.00. We then went over to Lowes, which is right across the street. They say they will match whatever deals Home Depot has. They had a gas stove with a convection oven, 3 shelves inside, self cleaning. Here it is. It was $999.00. I told them the sale that Home Depot was having and would they match it or make me go back over to Home Depot and buy their stove. He looked up the stove I wanted and gave us the same deal, but just gave us $200 off. He ordered it and it will be delivered in a couple of weeks. I am so excited…..I get a stove. A nice stove. I have been cooking on little plug in electric cooking plates. I cook in my toaster oven, it is not very big, but I think I am getting better at cooking in that thing. We still have to finish putting on the counter tops on the cabinets by the stove and get the stove. The center is a big island for prepairing food. I love the new kitchen.
Anyway……the real estate lady said the man loved our house and the lady loved our kitchen. But she wants a bigger yard. She also would like stainless appliances. I was going to include my fridge, it is white. I have decided to not include my refridgerator or nice washer and dryer. That way people can buy their stainless appliances. I have decided to keep my appliances if I sell the house. That way they can get whatever they want. People are buying new houses around here, but the non new ones don’t sell that fast. Oh..Well.
