I never eat salad.  But, the last couple of days, I made a salad and ate it.  We have been going out to eat a lot.  It costs so much to eat out in restaurants.  They have raised to prices so high.  We went into a Fridays and looked at the menu.  We wanted to have lunch.  The prices were $14 and up.  We left.  We went to the Olive Garden.  I looked over the menu and decided on soup and salad which was $7.  Hubby said “Look, they have an endless pasta menu item.  It was $8.95.  I changed my mind and got the Endless pasta.  I don’t know why I ordered it…..like I need endless pasta….which I don’t.  I got the fettuccine pasta with a red meat sauce.  They brought this big dish of pasta and placed it in front of me.  “Cheese?”  The waiter grated some white cheese over the pasta…waiting for me to say stop.  I was tempted to let him grind the cheese until there was a mountain of cheese over the pasta dish.  “Ok, you can stop now”, I said.  “Wait, can I get any kind of pasta I want?”

“Yes, do you want more?”  I said “I want to have some fettuccine Alfredo.”  He said he would bring it to me.  I pushed my fork into the steaming hot pasta, the cheese had melted, all gooey over the top.  Lifting the pasta with my fork, long strands of cheese dripping off the side, I tasted the pasta.  It was good.  I had a few bites, when the waiter brought me the other bowl of pasta.  It was a smaller dish than the first one.  I love fettuccine  Alfredo.  I ignored the pasta with the meat sauce and ate the other pasta.  I took turns eating both kinds of pasta.  I had barely made a dent into it, but I got too full to continue.  I said “My endless pasta, has just come to an end, I can’t eat another bite.”

The waiter came back and asked if I wanted more pasta.  “No, I am done.”  He said “Do you want a to go box?”

“No, I am done….no more pasta for me.”

We paid and left and went to Wal-Mart.  They had a big box of Elmer’s white glue for 5 cents a bottle.  I bought one bottle.  When my son came home, I showed him the glue I got for a nickel.  He said his teacher said “The school is broke, so we all have to share the 4 bottles of glue in class.”

I said “Let’s go to Wal-Mart.  I will guy your teacher 25 bottles of glue.”  We drove over to Waldo world and the glue was still for sale for a nickel.  I counted out 25 bottles and got one extra one for me.  I paid for them, they cost $1.45 with tax.  “Now you take them to your teacher and tell her she has lots of glue for the class now”, I said.

We will give them to her on Monday.

I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond got a salad spinner.  I made the most delicious salad today.  I cut up one chicken breast into long slices.  I cooked them in a pan and poured on terriyaki sauce.  I put some delicous grape tomatoes and bigger cherry tomatoes in a bowl.  I bought some craisins, sweatened cranberries, and put a hand full in the bowl.  Cut up a few baby carrots, 2 green onions, 2 mushrooms, some beats, 2 of them, washed and spun the lettuce and ripped it up by hand.  Put on a spoon of Lighthouse Blue cheese dressing and mixed it up into the salad.  Then topped it with the terriyaki chicken slices.  It was very, delicious tasting.

I found a recipe for a chocolate cake make in a coffee cup in a microwave for 3 minutes.  I need to get the ingredients and make a video of making it.  I need to try making that.

I made Strawberry-Banana Jello tonight.  It is jelling in the fridge.  I forgot to buy cool whip for it though.

Bedtime now.  Tomorrow, I get internet.  I can’t wait to show you the Buffalo picture I took.
