The weekly photo challenge is Self Portrait.
I live in Reno, Nevada. We drove downtown last night. When I saw all the casino lights, I took a self portrait, trying to capture the lighted casino background. In the background is The Nugget casino.

The lights are so pretty! What a fun town.
It is pretty at night, plus right now they have ice skating outside by the river. I might have to go ice skating. It is built beside the river but up at street level.
I love this photo – loved the red lighting and the informal feel of a snap, but with a good, strong composition – it turned out really well.
p.s. if you look really hard, there is a ghost standing on the pavement as you drive past
I didn’t use a flash, but that light spot was on the picture. I think the window was up though, probably a reflection on that. I could not figure out my Corel Photo editor on how to fix it. The directions are hard to understand.
I like the warm colours.
I will put up a couple more pictures of the signs. I got a neat one, but most of them blurred because we were driving past.

We were at a stop light, so I clicked the picture. It is hard to take a picture of yourself, in the dark and trying to get in the background.
