NV Dept. of Agriculture removes 10 horses from Damonte Ranch area.
They captured the group of brown horses. They just walked through our neighborhood 12-5-12. They have a new baby colt, I heard it is 3 weeks old. So cute. The link is to the news story and video. This guy who has the land next to our neighborhood has a hay field. It is always locked. Yesterday I saw that the gate was unlocked and open. The hay was tempting to the horses. A field of green hay, just waiting to be eaten. They went into the field and then the gates were closed capturing them. They were them caught and put into a metal fence area. I saw a horse trailer. People were protesting and yelling “Let the horses go.” There were a lot of cops just letting the horses get taken away. I walked over to take pictures and video. I am putting the video on Youtube. I read in the comments on the news that the 3 week old colt was drug by the neck onto the horse trailer. Poor horses.

They are sold at auction. They don’t set them free again.
