It snowed here. The beautiful snow flakes drifting down to the ground, all powdery and fluffy. I love the snow. I walked outside to go get the mail. The driveway was slick, covered in ice. I slowly walked to the road and went to get my mail. It was so cold. My face was almost frozen by the time I got the mail and went into the house. I decided to shovel the snow. We have 3 snow shovels. The flat snow shovel works the best. My son took that one. I took the curved one made of plastic. That thing works like crap. It just slides over the snow, leaving groves and a lot of snow. My son decided to build a snowman. I went to see it, it was so tiny. Who builds a tiny snowman? I just walked outside, in the dark, 15 degrees, to take a picture to show you. The one he made is on the right. It is in front of my plastic light up snowman, which is not real big either. He tried to decorate with this Mr Snowman kit, but the stuff was too big to use on his snowman. The hat was way too big for the head he made.

On Christmas day I decided I didn’t want to cook. So I didn’t. I told my husband that we were going out to eat. We went to the Nugget casino and ate at the buffet. It was so good. They had prime rib and turkey and these huge shrimp. I had 3 or 4 different desert plates. They had the best yule log and cream puffs and a fruit tart. Yummm.

The next night I cooked our turkey because I didn’t want to waste it. I had mashed potatoes and gravy and green bean casserole and biscuits and stuffing. It tasted really good too.

I will just watch TV on New Years Eve and watch a movie that I bought. It will be 2013. I got a new house this year. I love looking at the Christmas tree. I will miss it when I take it down. I might leave it up another month. I love the way the ornaments shine.

I hope you have a wonderful New Year. Don’t drink and drive.
