It got to zero degrees on the 16th. I have never seen zero degrees. I mean, just when I was old enough to remember. Probably have seen it when I was little, but I don’t remember it. That is why I took a picture of my clock with the outdoor temp (on the right). It was 7 degrees this morning
.
It is so cold that when I open my window shade, the window is frozen on the inside. This morning the ice was all over the bottom of the window. I sleep with my electric blanket on at night. I have a water bed and it is a little chilly when I first lay down, but it warms up after a little while. I went to the lake yesterday morning and it was 5 degrees by then. I wanted to take pictures of it because the lake was frozen. I got out of the car and stood there and took about 5 pictures. It was so cold I stopped and got back in my vehicle and warmed up my hands. I could not stand to be out in

the cold for very long. It made me realize what the people in the crash was feeling, only they must have been colder. My heart goes out to those people that were in the plane crash in New York in the river. It must have been terrifying and on top of that cold, really cold. Then they got wet, the water must have been so cold. You see the pictures of them standing on the wings, their legs in the water. The rescue people said the people were so cold they could hardly move their arms and legs, just to get into the boats. I am just happy and glad that they all survived that horrible plane crash. It was a horrible day and a lucky day for them.
