I was watching TV the other day and it was a local show with people cooking. The man was from Fry’s Grocery Store. He was cooking up this dish with red and yellow and green peppers and onions. He put in some cooked chicken. Then he put in a lot of sour cream. It looked good. They opened up a Fry’s Mercado store, catering to the Mexican market. I went to their website and could not find the recipe’s they were cooking, but you can go to the store and buy it already made. I found the store ad on the internet. I can’t believe the prices. At the store around the corner from my house, an avocado is $1.50 each. I saw the Fry’s Mercado ad and they have avocado 6 for 99 cents. They do have strange meats for sale, stuff I don’t see in regular grocery stores. They have Goat meat. I have never tasted Goat, but I didn’t know they sold it in stores. I though Goats were for goat milk for cheese. They also sell Pork neck bones and Pig’s feet. I can’t imagine why you would want pork neck bones, I guess to make a soup. I was watching the movie Precious the other night and they were eating Pig’s feet. The mom in the movie said to her daughter “I can’t eat that pigs feet, it has hair all over it!” She made Precious eat it. It looked gross.
They have Chorizo. I love that stuff. I wonder if Chorizo has goat meat in it….. I am going to go to the Mercado store tomorrow. It is 30 miles from my house. I won’t be getting goat meat or pigs feet or pork necks though.

I like putting up photo’s I took. This was taken Downtown Las Vegas. Those people were dressed up like Michael Jackson and Prince. One girl was dressed up like a show girl and people would pay her to take their picture with them. I was there to watch the light show overhead. We then went inside a casino to Tony Roma’s to eat. The food was not that great. We went to Vegas last month to see my Mom and see if we wanted to move back there. It has grown so much and I just didn’t want to move back there. It used to be cheap to go out and eat there, but they have really raised their prices there. I didn’t really like it anymore.
There are certain parts of London where you can buy goats meat…
…I think its a mainstay of African cooking.
Pigs feet or pork trotters as they are sold, are the “in” thing to eat – you can buy them for next to nothing but posh restaurants sell their dishes for an exorbitant amount!

My dad used to like pigs trotters and my granny liked brains on toast. ( I think I’ve got normal tastes, considering my family)
Goats cheese is very popular in France. It’s what the French hippies used to do when they dropped out.

That is so funny that pig feet is called pig trotters. I have had fudge made with goats milk, it was good. I don’t think I could eat brains on toast. I eat an egg on toast.
