Weekly photo challenge: Opportunity

The WordPress Weekly Photo challenge is Opportunity.

Today I went to Target. I love when you walk in the door, they have a display of dollar items. I stopped and looked and this. A glass that lights up. WOW what an opportunity. I mean, how many times do you get the opportunity to buy a light up glass for a dollar? I LOVE light up glasses. (The kind you drink out of.) I have seen them at Disney World in the Rainforest Cafe and those things are expensive, like $9 filled with a soda. I bought one. It blinks and the lights go around in circles, it flashes or just stays lighted up. AWSOME, that is what it is.

When my son came home from school, I poured a coke into this glass. The lights were blinking and looking great. He drank my coke. See the picture, that is what I had left of my Coke.

  1. That is a great bargain. My wife and I go to Target too for winner deals. Their clearance area feels like a treasure chest sometimes. That was one cool item that you bought… And awesome savings! Wonderful post. Have a fun weekend.

    1. I didn’t either, until I saw them at a restaurant and wanted one, until I heard the price. I didn’t want to pay a lot of money for a drink with a light up glass. You did get to keep the glass though.

    1. It has a little button on the bottom you push 4 times. Each time does something different. Flashing, going around the glass, solid light and off. I got the earrings from a cigarrette girl in a casino in Las Vegas. She goes around the casino selling cigs and she had earrings too. I don’t have them anymore, but they were neat. I bet you could find them on the internet.
