Weekly Photo Challenge: Launch

The weekly photo challenge is Launch

I was going to go outside with a bucket of water and have my son launch the water out of the bucket. But I thought “What if I can’t catch the water in the air, coming out of the bucket. What kind of mess will it make.” Maybe some other time. I went with these pictures. I took them at the balloon race while the hot air balloons were launching into the air.

Up, up and away. Launched.

I love to make videos, cooking ones and legos ones. I like to draw and paint and make crafts and read blogs. I have a Nikon D80. I also use my new Canon Rebel. I don't really notice not much difference in pictures between the Nikon D80 but I bought for the video use. You can not use Nikon to make a video, it is not on the camera.

  1. There’s something magical about watching the balloons lift-off into the sky. The colors are brilliant, lively, just an image of happiness. I haven’t seen it during the day but I saw one at night and it was beautiful. Thanks for giving me an idea. I was wondering what photo would symbolize, “launch.” Have a great weekend.

  3. Beautiful ballons and great for “launch”! The bucket of water is tempting, I can think of nothing for this challenge and have nothing in the old folders of pictures unless I stretch it a bit! The colors are so vivid!

    1. That was a sad event but this happened months ago and nothing happened here. I read that these balloons crash once in a while. It can be dangerous sometimes.

  5. Wonderful photos! We used to live in Bloomington, Indiana, and there was a hot air balloon festival nearby. It is so amazing to see all the balloons rising into the air! Great job capturing the feeling of the moment.

And thanks for visiting my site!
