Weekly photo challenge: Contrast

The weekly photo challenge is Contrast.

One morning, it snowed. The road was all frozen. I like the contrast of the black road and the white snow and ice.

The other day I bought some fresh brussels sprouts. They were still on the stalk, so I cut them all off and put them in a strainer and washed them off. I like the contrast of the solid green with the liquid spray of the water, looking all sparkling and wet.

I love to make videos, cooking ones and legos ones. I like to draw and paint and make crafts and read blogs. I have a Nikon D80. I also use my new Canon Rebel. I don't really notice not much difference in pictures between the Nikon D80 but I bought for the video use. You can not use Nikon to make a video, it is not on the camera.

  1. I honestly thought the ice road was an aerial shot of the wake of an icebreaker boat until I read the text. Very cool shot.

  2. Weee! For the past weeks, WPC’s are kind of blahs. I love this week because it really gives the participants to show their creativities. You obviously successfully done just that.

    1. I went outside to take a picture of the snow. The road was so icy, I was afraid I would fall. That is why I took that picture. It came out neat looking though.

  3. Great contrasting job, Connie. I don’t know which one I like best. OK, the brussels sprouts, cuz I’m getting tired of white snow and ice. 🙂

    1. I like the green brussels sprouts, because I was so excited when I saw them on the stalk in the store. I never see them for sale like that in the grocery store. I used to get them in Florida at a farm stand, fresh cut from the garden.
