The Weekly Photo Challenge is Changing Seasons.
I have lived here in Reno, Nevada for 1 year and 7 months. It has hardly rained since I have moved here, but it rained last week, a lot. There was flood warnings that the Truckee river was going to flood downtown. The river did not flood because the rain turned to snow up in the mountains. It did rain a lot in my yard though. It looked like a little lake.
The wind blew really hard too. It blew over a couple of semi trucks on the highway and it blew my neighbor’s fence across the street, over and broke the boards holding it. I went to see it close up. The winds were probably 70 MPH. There were waves on my little lake in my back yard. Too bad it was so cold, I could have used my boogie board.
It did snow here too. It melted later on in the day. I excited by the snow, but it didn’t last long.
This was taken before the guys fence blew over across the street. My poor blow up turkey was covered with snow. I did take a picture of the blow up turkey to show you, I inflated it to take a picture, then I packed him away until next year. I didn’t get to inflate him even on Thanksgiving day because of the wind.
looks like the turkey is enjoying the sun !

That was some strong wind. Love the snow. Truly a reflection of the joys of Winter. It’s amazing that just last month it was Turkey and Thanksgiving and now Christmas. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
