The Weekly photo challenge is Sea.
Sea. What kind of emotions does the sea or ocean make you feel? Do you remember the first time you went in the water? Had a wave crash on you? Felt the sand burn your feet? Do you feel more peaceful around water? Do you hate the beach? What’s the most interesting thing about the sea for you?
I love going to the ocean. The wind blowing across your skin. The sound of the waves, crashing into the sand. It is hypnotic and calming.
I like to walk in the sand and just where the sand is wet and glistens, you can find shark teeth, they glisten like black shiny objects. They are hard to find, but I can spend hours looking for them.
We like to climb over the rocks to look for shells. The rocks gets covered when the tide comes in.
I have gone into the water with a boogie board, and rode a wave into the beach, but then the wave pushed me under and it was powerful and full of sand and holds you under. I didn’t like that feeling so I have not done it again.
After watching shark week on TV, sharks come in close to the beach. I am kind of afraid of getting a bite out of my leg by a shark. After seeing pictures of all the people that got bit, I don’t think I will go into the water. I will just walk along the edge, looking for shark teeth and shells.
I tried boogie boarding too, I was tossed and churned and rolled by the waves, Don’t give in to fear. I have learned that giving in to a fear means missing out on a blessing.

The lady that swam from the Cuba to Florida said the hard thing for her was the jelly fish. I guess they stung her face. She had people moving them for her.
