The Weekly photo challenge is From lines to patterns.
I grabbed my camera and went to my yard to look for lines and patterns. There are lines and patterns all over, it you look closer.
The reed grass is tall and if you look closer there are white lines around it with a black patterned line around it.
I notice the juniper pine tree has patterns all over the bark.
A rose bud has a pattern around the flower, it comes to a point and it is fuzzy on the sides.
I noticed a cover made of steel has a pattern on it too.
If you look at strawberry plant leaves, it even has a pattern. The leaves have lines all over it, but the edge is scalloped shaped.

Weekly photo challenge: One shot, two ways
The weekly photo challenge is One shot, two ways.
For this challenge, capture two images — a horizontal and a vertical version — of the same scene or subject. There are no concrete “rules” here, but a) it should be evident that both shots are of the same place/location or person/thing, and b) your photographs should ideally have been taken during the same shoot — where’s the challenge if you’re just plucking out pictures of a particular location or person from your archives?
So I got my camera and took a picture of what else…my tomatoes. Of course. I love those things.
I alsolso have some Reed grass. It is starting to grow tall. It is really neat, the inside is hollow and it looks almost like sticks.
