The weekly photo challenge is Unique
I have seen a few wild horses around the neighborhood lately. The colts are unique in the markings. Look at this one. The white mark on his nose looks like a 7.
This one came over to me a couple of days ago, when I stopped to take pictures. His white marking looks like diamond shape.
The weather has turned so cold. It blew about 60 MPH winds yesterday. My blowup turkey was whipping around. It was not even plugged in, but it was blowing so hard that the turkey was about to blow away. The scarf that was tied on, was blown off of it and was stuck in a bush, trying to blow away. I kept having to get big rocks to put on it to hold it to the ground. I just pulled the scarf off of the bush and brought it into the house. The wind was from the jet stream. The news said it was blowing 125 mph in the jet stream, way up in the sky. The news said gusts to 80 mph were forecasted around here. With the wind, it blew in the cold weather. The sky is all grey today and covering the mountains around me. Lake Tahoe is about 15 miles, up in the tall mountains. The clouds cover the mountains and it is snowing up there.
This morning, I was driving my son to school. I saw a small group of wild horses on the road. They go into the yards and eat the grass. One of the horses was limping. I read on this wild horse website that the horse was hit by a car and it limping around. I feel really sorry for it. I looked for the horses in the neighborhood when I came back home. They were around the corner, in a yard, eating the grass. I took their picture. I have not seen these horses around my neighborhood. I think the BLM caught the pretty group of horses that were hanging around. The BLM are trying to capture all the wild horses. You can read about it here.
It makes me sad that they capture the horses and pen them up. They end up killing them.
