Weekly photo challenge: Resolved

The weekly photo challenge is Resolved.

I was watching a cooking show on Cooking TV. This lady made a from scratch banana cream pie. She poured cream in a bowl and took a whisk and beat it around a bowl and made whipped cream. I went to the store and bought some cream and bananas and printed out the recipe. The more I read it, the more I thought my banana cream pie would come out terrible. I bought some banana pudding and a ready made cookie pie crust and made my pie and put cool whip on top. I still had my box of heavy cream. I decided to use the cream in my coffee. Problem resolved with my box of cream. The coffee tastes great with real cream in it.

Another “resolved picture I have is of birds….2 quails. I has been really cold outside. I looked outside and there were 2 quails sitting on my fence. Their feathers were all fluffed out making them look like two big balls. I watched them for a little time and after sitting apart for a while, they moved closer to each other, right beside each other to get a little warmer. I think they resolved their problem of the cold weather.

I love to make videos, cooking ones and legos ones. I like to draw and paint and make crafts and read blogs. I have a Nikon D80. I also use my new Canon Rebel. I don't really notice not much difference in pictures between the Nikon D80 but I bought for the video use. You can not use Nikon to make a video, it is not on the camera.

  1. Hi Connie,
Great resolutions. I like how have followed your feeling and came out with a great pie. Bottom line: The little voice rules! I adored the quails, too. 🙂

    1. The from scratch had a lot of raw eggs. You heat up the custard and them temper the eggs so they don’t cook. I have not tempered raw eggs, I would probably end up with scrambled eggs. It also had a homemade carmel sauce you had to make to pour in the bottom of the pie. I didn’t think it would come out good either, so I just made an easy pie. Just whisk in milk into Jello pudding mix. Ready in 5 minutes.

  2. Glad to hear about how things resolved, Connie. I am still mentally imagining the pudding, and couldn’t easily switch to the quail photo. lol!

    1. I was all excited to make to banana cream pie when I watched to TV show, but after I re-read the recipe, it sounded harder to make than I wanted to do. The girl on TV went to culinary school and she could do it real easy. I made a chicken pot pie from a chef on TV and it took me 4 hours to make.
