About

Welcome to my blog.   I like to cook…sometimes.  I go in spurts.  I really like to make different breads, I am always trying a new recipe, if I like it, I made a video of how to do it and put it up on YouTube.  I also make Lego videos with my son.  (he is 12)  Those take a lot of time to make.  I like to read books and paint pictures, I have sold some of them.  I like to travel, we go camping a lot.  I love to take pictures.  I tried doing the 365 pictures, but it is hard finding interesting things every single day, so I stopped it.  If I do take a picture I like I will put it on here or on Photobucket.

Right now my favorite shows on TV are  Merlin, Chuck, Medium, Castle, Chelsea Lately (she is funny) and I really like Fringe.

I have started drawing a daily picture on a calendar and posting them on my blog.  I don’t know who long I will keep that up.

  1. I’ve just been going through your posts, and I really like your style of writing. It’s as though you write as you speak.

Some of my friends told me my initial blog posts were too formal, and that they couldn’t “hear my voice” in the articles I was writing. I’ve been working on it since then but it’s not easy.

I’ve added your blog to my reading list and I look forward to reading your posts in the future. Thanks a lot for the suggestions you gave me in the ‘101 uses for a newspaper’ post. 🙂

  2. You have a lot of interests. I know how long legos take. One of my sons has built many big Lego projects with his son and they display them…

    You sound eclectic..cool.

  7. I’m loving the photo of the wild horses laying on the lawn. I have one of a cattle drive on the beach in about the same spot on my blog.

  8. Thank you for the follow, Connie! I agree about the whole 365-project thingy, I don’t know where those folks get their daily inspiration from, and how it doesn’t turn into a chore… 🙂

  9. Hi Connie
Thank you for dropping by my blog and taking the time to leave a wonderful comment, appreciated 🙂 . Thank you too for alerting me about destination.com, it’s not my site, but they seem to publish extracts or entire blogs of other people on their site. Something to do with syndication permissions in the setup? Either way I’m still deciding if I should leave it, because it’s good for promotion, or if I should change the setting because it violates copyright! Lovely roses, and great images of them too. 🙂
