Weekly Photo Challenge: Family

The weekly photo challenge is Family.

I like this challenge.  I have a picture of my grandmother when she was younger, standing with my father when he was younger. He was in the navy. I don’t know who the little girl is in the picture.

My dad had 2 brothers, here is a picture of them when they were little, it was taken in 1921. I like this really old picture of 2 small boys feeding chickens. They were my uncles.

Then I have my current family, my husband and son, taken at the Valley of Fire in Nevada. I told him to try to push the big rock. It didn’t budge.

I love to make videos, cooking ones and legos ones. I like to draw and paint and make crafts and read blogs. I have a Nikon D80. I also use my new Canon Rebel. I don't really notice not much difference in pictures between the Nikon D80 but I bought for the video use. You can not use Nikon to make a video, it is not on the camera.

  2. I love old photo’s and the history behind them. I am amazed you can post so quickly as my photo’s are put away at my sisters storage shed. If I had photo’s I would of posted them. Black and white photo’s now that I am older (44) are my favorites. I have so many photo’s and wonder what to do with them all. I guess that will be something I can organize in 2012! Thanks for stopping by my blog…adding that we have a pool, we need it for all of the kids: big family!! So we don’t have much of a yard but we have what I call an old lady exercise pool! LOL

  9. Wow. The old pics are great! That photo taken in 1921 is simply amazing. My father wasn’t even born that time. I love your photos, especially those boys feeding the chicken.

  16. These are all great captures of ‘family’ for this week’s challenge. The old ones seem as if they are ready to share their story. The one of your husband and son looks like it will be a great story to tell when others see it in the future. : )
